It all started in Montana, thanks to an inspired English teacher who encouraged Marie to join "Speech & Debate." Since then, her creativity and storytelling has spread from the classroom to LA stages, Southeast sets, her church theatre, and beyond.

Marie has been in several commercials including those for McDonalds, Ford, Georgia Lottery, Hormel, and Universal Studios. Her on screen work can also be seen and heard on Netflix, NBC, BET+, OWN and other networks. When not acting, she trains young actors in her class "Shine Like Stars," plays princesses and other animated characters for kid's parties and daily plays the best leading role ever: MOM.
